πŸ“ Location: Double Dutch are a fully remote company, so they’re open to hiring anywhere in the UK. Travel to central London once a month is required.

πŸš€ THE ROLE

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of their production and lead initiatives for process improvement and cost efficiencies. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, improving margins, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

πŸ› οΈ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations
Continuously strive to improve the overall cost-effectiveness and efficiency of Operations.
Set up and achieve KPIs for the department and staff.
Manage all aspects of production operations, including manufacturing, forecasting, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

πŸ“¦ Stock Management
Ensure stock availability is maximized without overstocking.
Meet delivery deadlines for new customers.
Minimize stock write-offs and reconcile stock movements daily with monthly manual stock counts.
Perform month-end stock valuation and reconciliation to NetSuite balances.

πŸ—“οΈ Production Planning
Take ownership of end-to-end supply chain performance, managing material and production ordering, planning, and processes.
Improve stock availability and cover KPIs through effective production forecasting and planning.

🀝 Supply Chain Partner Management
Manage all Supply Chain Partners.
Ensure raw materials and finished stock availability.
Foster sustainable relationships with suppliers and collaborate with the sales team on stock management.

πŸ›’ Procurement
Lead procurement efforts, minimize lead times, reduce Minimum Order Quantities, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Identify opportunities for supply chain improvements in cost, time efficiency, and sustainability.

🚚 Logistics and Warehousing (L&W)
Ensure optimal service and cost for L&W.
Apply best practices with L&W partners to optimize service and minimize costs.

πŸ‘₯ Staff Management
Manage your ops team professionally, ensuring they are valued, well-trained, efficient, and reach their potential.
Conduct regular appraisals.

🌿 Other Responsibilities
B Corp & Sustainable-actions owner.
Approve all supplier invoices.
Calculate and approve sugar tax.
Maintain master COGS lists.

✨ ABOUT YOU
Experience within operations, preferably in the FMCG or beverage sector.
Strong understanding of production processes and supply chain management.
Experience in managing and developing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and other operational software (NetSuite MRP experience ideal but not essential).
