THE ROLE: NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
They’re searching for a dynamic & talented individual to drive growth in retail and online. You’ll own the planning and execution of a growth plan, using your insights to influence key customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
📊 Create retailer-specific plans
📈 Track business performance and key drivers
🛒 Develop customer-specific promotional calendars
🔍 Manage product mix aligned with brand and category strategies
🤝 Build and execute customer contact strategies
🛍️ Support listings, drive new business, & NPD
💻 Help grow their e-commerce presence
🎯 Organize sales meetings and pitch compelling proposals
🚀 Execute product sampling and event activations
🔢 Forecast volumes & sales pipeline, and collaborate with production teams
📊 Analyze category data and present insights to buyers
📑 Prepare presentations for external meetings
🏪 Visit stores and attend retailer conferences
ABOUT YOU:
✔️ Previous account management experience in the grocery/FMCG sector
✔️ Strong ability to create and deliver customer business plans
✔️ Excellent communication and influencing skills
✔️ Proficiency in P&L analysis to drive commercial advantage
✔️ 3+ years of sales experience managing top UK retailers
✔️ Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset
✔️ Flexibility to travel to manufacturers and retailers
✔️ Passion for working in a small, collaborative team
