This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, owner-managed SME. Sauce Shop operates two Shopify stores—one for consumers and one for wholesale—while collaborating with recognised retail and food service partners.
You will take full ownership of their e-commerce and digital marketing strategy, driving online sales, customer acquisition, and retention.
As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll shape Sauce Shop’s online presence to align with our challenger brand ethos and ambitious growth plans. This role is hands-on and requires both strategic thinking and executional excellence.
📍 Location: Based at our HQ in Nottingham (NG2), you’ll be part of a team of approximately 45 people.
THE ROLE:
🎯 Developing and executing a performance-driven e-commerce strategy to grow online sales and improve conversion rates.
🛒 Managing D2C and wholesale websites, ensuring an exceptional user experience that reflects our brand values.
🚀 Planning and executing campaigns across paid channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) to drive traffic and customer acquisition.
🌐 Driving organic traffic growth through SEO strategies, blog content, and partnerships.
📩 Building and managing an email marketing program focused on retention and lifetime value using segmentation, automation, and personalization.
📊 Analysing data to measure performance and optimize campaigns to achieve KPIs.
🤝 Collaborating with brand marketing, content, creative, and sales teams to align messaging and promotions.
🧪 Exploring and testing new digital channels, tools, and trends to keep Sauce Shop at the forefront of e-commerce innovation.
ABOUT YOU:
✅ Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is essential
📈 Proven experience managing e-commerce or digital marketing in a high-growth SME or challenger brand.
🎯 Deep understanding of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and analytics tools.
🖋️ Skilled in SEO, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization.
🧠 Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
🌟 Passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and driving brand loyalty.
🛠️ Creative, results-driven, and proactive problem solver.
🍔 Experience with food and beverage brands or FMCG is desirable but not essential.
