In 2019, Foodchain were appointed to recruit for a newly created Head of Marketing role for the adventurous UK based Latin American food brand, Capsicana. This was the first of many hires via Foodchain in Capsicana.
The business were looking for an ambitious individual to join their team as they entered the next phase of growth. Having gained significant listings in major grocery retailers, they were growing distribution and widening their customer base, continuing to deliver innovation through authentic recipes & ingredients in South American food!
Reporting directly to the Founder, this was a full mix, strategic marketing role: including shopper and trade marketing, campaign management, BTL marketing activity, events, brand management and digital marketing.
This recruitment campaign was crucial to get right first time, as the company had recently hired via another agency which failed to work out in a short period.
The brand and job opportunity was creatively showcased to our candidate database and wider network. A unique advertising tool was trailed and proved to be successful, incorporating Video Marketing to promote the brand.
This led to a higher success rate of candidate interest towards the role and to support with the headhunt process.
