Foodchain Recruitment are working with the business to find them a go-getting, entrepreneurial minded Account Manager (or Hutch Hustler as they prefer to call it), reporting into the Head of Sales, to drive new and repeat sales for their incubator brands.

You will play an instrumental part in the growth of the brands that you work on, with a broad and varied remit. Your initial focus will be on their start-up brand FATSO, the highly ethical, extra chunky dark chocolate that doesn’t take itself too seriously. You will be responsible for winning and retaining accounts across a wide range of channels.

You will have an opportunity to grow with brands, work on new brands, and be integral to the success of our growing portfolio of true disruptors. This may mean from time to time getting involved in the new to world brand process and launches.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively pitching and successfully converting new accounts (especially driving independent and premium direct to retail wins)- UK & I

  • Account management- retention and replenishment of customers across various channels (UK&I focus initially)

  • Support with pitches and range review opportunities of larger accounts

  • Attend sampling sessions at key accounts to drive sell through

  • Gather feedback and liaise with marketing on in-store activation, POS and social media collaboration opportunities

  • Attend and present your weekly sales updates to senior management team

  • This role is permanent and based in the London office in Richmond, though this role will also require some travel from time to time. The company also have a hybrid work policy.

ABOUT YOU

  • Passion for disruptor products and brands with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Proven experience in sales and account management, with an exceptional ability to build relationships

  • Ability to think strategically and deliver.

  • Experience with managing stakeholders.

  • A high level of creativity and enthusiasm.

  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and work under pressure.

  • Results driven and commercially minded.

  • Ability to analyse problems effectively and action solutions to resolve issues.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good flexible approach.

  • Ability to hit the ground running and demonstrate initiative.

  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to provide and share information clearly and concisely.

  • Experience in on-trade/hospitality sales and account management preferable.
