THE ROLE
π We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Logistics & Export Manager to oversee and enhance the supply chain operations, ensuring efficient logistics and compliance with export regulations. π
Supply Chain Management:
π Develop and implement strategies to optimise the end-to-end supply chain process, from raw material procurement to product delivery.
π Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply while minimising excess stock and obsolescence.
π€ Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
Logistics Management:
π Oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
π¦ Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and other service providers.
π Implement and maintain logistics KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Export Management:
π Develop and execute export strategies to expand the companyβs global footprint.
π Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs requirements.
π Coordinate with international distributors and customers to ensure smooth export operations and resolve any issues that arise.
Process Improvement:
π§ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels within the supply chain and logistics operations.
π‘ Utilise technology and best practices to streamline supply chain and logistics processes.
Risk Management:
β οΈ Identify potential risks within the supply chain and logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies.
β Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
π Proven experience in supply chain and logistics management, with a focus on the food manufacturing industry.
π Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs procedures.
π» Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
π§ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
π£οΈ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
