THE ROLE: NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER (FOODSERVICE & WHOLESALE)
Join the dynamic team as a National Account Manager and work closely with the Sales Director and the Commercial and Senior teams to lead their regional distribution plan. Your love for the industry will shine through as you account manage key customers and contribute to their ambitious growth plans in 2024 and beyond.
๐ Clear path to progression with support from the senior team to progress to a senior NAM within the business.
โRESPONSIBILITIES:
๐ Account manage key regional distributors and their end customers, developing annual joint business plans and fostering day-to-day relationships.
๐ฏ Proactively hunt for new business across the UK foodservice channel.
๐ Provide regular, effective reporting to the Sales Director on business performance, growth, and targets.
๐ข Play a key role in monthly sales meetings, reporting back to the wider business on your accounts.
๐ค Develop cross-department relationships with marketing, accounts, and senior management.
๐ Showcase Love Struck during account range reviews, innovation days, and NPD opportunities.
๐ Support the business on trade shows, customer samplings, and various initiatives.
๐ Ensure CRMs and forecasting are up-to-date to support wider business planning.
๐ผ Demonstrate clear confidence and understanding of UK Foodservice, excelling in commercial discussions, negotiation, and objection handling.
ABOUT YOU
๐ฝ๏ธ Experience in UK foodservice working with distributors and end customers.
๐ก True passion for sales, account management, and the food and drink industry.
๐ Self-starter who can manage their own diary and plan their workload.
๐ฎ Strategic thinker with the ability to create short- and long-term visions for customers and accounts.
๐งณ Willingness to travel with occasional overnight expectations.
